Blended Finance Roadmap for Global Health (USAID) - PSE Subgroup Meeting - August 27, 2019

Recent trends in global health financing indicate that funding levels by governments and donors may not be adequate to meet the health and well-being Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Blended finance - the strategic use of public and philanthropic resources to mobilize private capital to achieve development outcomes - can be an important tool to address the approximate $134 billion funding gap to achieve the health SDGs in low- and middle-income countries (2016 estimate).
