Community Health Worker Experiences and Perceptions: Findings from a PATH-MACEPA survey of CHWs in Zambia

November 9, 2021 - November 9, 2021
Online

The Institutionalizing iCCM subgroup hosted a webinar to present findings from a survey of community health workers' experiences in Zambia. As part of an effort to better understand the community workforce providing malaria community care management (CCM) and surveillance in Zambia, the PATH Malaria Control and Elimination Partnership in Africa (MACEPA) along with Tulane University conducted the survey in 2019. The presentation also shared how these findings resonant beyond malaria case management, as the same health workers were treating all common childhood illnesses and providing care to families.
