November 10, 2021 - November 10, 2021
Online

The Nutrition and Child Health subgroup hosted a webinar to share findings from a report by USAID's MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project on sick child feeding in 16 African countries. The report investigates caregivers' practices and health providers' support for nutrition counseling during and after childhood illness. The presentation also identified gaps in the report and the need for additional research in feeding practices during childhood illnesses besides diarrhea, feeding after illness/during recovery, and the role of fathers, grandmothers, in-laws and neighbors.
