Interim Guidance for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Schools

WHO, UNICEF and IFRC recommend clear and actionable guidance for school administrators, teachers and staff; caregivers and parents; as well as students and children. The recommendations focus on safe operations through the prevention, early detection and control of COVID-19 in schools and other educational facilities. The American Academy of Pediatrics also offers COVID-19 Guidance for Safe Schools.

Protect a Generation: The impact of COVID-19 on children's lives (Save the Children, 2020)

Save the Children conducted a survey of children and their caregivers to give voice to the indirect impacts of COVID-19 on child health and wellbeing. The findings, presented in this report, represent 25,000 respondents (including 8,000 children) from 37 countries across the globe. Along with this report, Save the Children published six thematic briefs on the Hidden Impact of COVID-19 on Children which can be found on their website here.
